Austin came home from Deployment :) we picked him up at the Las Vegas airport on Dec. 21st I didnt cry!! I was so overwhelmed with all sorts of emotions, it was the happiest day of my entire life..maybe!! I'm so glad to have him home, and I'm very thankful the he was watched over and protected and came home safe and in one piece! :) This is a day I will never forget, this picture is that night, sitting in the parking garage waiting for Dad and Emalee to find the truck!
We had lots to do between December 21st and March 2nd, but we got all of it done and we were able to get in a few fun memories :) Snowboarding was my favorite!! This is a picture from the second time Austin took me, the first time was quite the experience!! I left the mountian with three big bruises, not pretty!! I was happy to have such an awesome teacher but he forgot to tell me just how miserable and NOT fun the first time snowboarding is...
On February 28th Austin and I went to the St. George Temple to take out our endowments, it was such an amazing experience!! And it was Austin's Birthday :)
Just 3 very long days later, Austin and I were sealed for time and all eternity!!! Gosh that sounds good, "time and all eternity" I'm certian that isnt going to be enough time with him! We are both so blessed to have eachother and very blessed to have been able to be Married in The Manti, Ut Temple. My all time favorite temple since I was a little girl! Sharing that day with Ausitn and our families was so great, everyone was so happy and nothing mattered except for the love that we all have for eachother!! Driving to Manti and seeing the Temple sitting on top of the hill, the blue sky behind it, all of it just hit Austin and I at the same time! The butterflies stuck around for a while, we were so excited, super nervous but truly looking forward to sealing the deal forever!
Our reception was quite the hit!! It made for a very long night, but we were so glad to see all the people that wanted to share that happy day with us! Our first dance was perfect, we danced to I cross my heart by George Strait, its been my favorite song for as far back as i can remember! My whole life I knew two things I would be married in the Manti Temple and I would dance my first dance with the love of my life to I cross my Heart!! Check Check :)
Mr. and Mrs. Austin Smith, for Time and ALL Eternity!!
