Fall Sheepin'

This last week my Uncle Mark needed help with his sheep so he recruited my family. On Wednesday Mark would be to the house at 7 am sharp to pick Whitney, Preston and myself up. It was so bitter cold, and we had no idea what we were even going to be doing so we just headed out to Summit. We trailed the sheep from the fields up to Carlisle's place, what an adventure! We never did say sheep was the smartest animal out there...

I was pushing the sheep up the shoot into Daivd's trailer nbd...
One of the ewe's didn't want to go so she tried jumpin' the shoot! Not on my watch she didn't, with my cat like reflexes i threw her down on her back! Wrong thing to do apparently, she jumped back at me and made perfect contact with my face! I was so frozen that realize how bad it had actually hurt until later! Whitney did have to tell me that i was bleeding everywhere and i should go take care of it, I didnt cry, my eyes just watered!

My mother brought Abby and Kylee over to Summit on Saturday to help us out a little bit! They loved it, they made a new friend Mylee! My dad taught them all three how to rope, not a good idea on his part! Little did he know that they were going to rope him. The girls managed to get the rope around him and began tugging it tighter and tighter dragging him around the pasture! Daddy decided to pull back and give them a little ride!
Abby then wanted to rope Mylee, she turned her back to Abby and began to run! Abby got the rope around her and it slipped all the way down her, she about stepped out of it and then Abby yanked on it! Mylee fell fast first in to the poopy dirt and it was a sob story from there on out. All in all it was a fabulous day, the girls had a blast! We got EVERYTHING done, and we made some awesome memories
