Lambing season!!

April=Lambing season!! Preston is working for a guy out in Summit who we have since adopted as our new Grandpa! So we have been spending lots of time over there loving on the cute baby lambs. We have taken Abby and Kylee with us, and they cant get enough! They watched a Momma give birth to one of her babies and the looks on their face's were priceless! Kylee LOVES feeding them, the bigger, older lambs drink the bottles really fast and they pull on the bottle so hard that it pulls her over and she gets the biggest kick out of it!! Abby loves to try and get the lambs to snuggle with her, but mostly they just eat her hair and kick their legs.
Watching the girls holding the lambs is funny cause they suck your chin, or your noise, anything that remotely resembles an utter!! The noise they make is just as funny as the way it feels!! Baby lambs are just so cute, I cant even get enough of them :)
While the ewe's are eating, all the babies have a while to play and be crazy with out their moms! In a group they run back and fourth or in circles! Watching the jump and skip get funny, especially when they cant stop and hit the fence! At the end of the day we all go home smelling like sheep, but the girls go on and on for hours about how much fun they had at the farm with the Olsen family!

Whitney loved the baby lambs so much that she decided she needed to have some at home with her! Kylee was so excited :) After her field trip to the College farm on Tuesday, I took her with Whitney and I over to Summit to pick up her two lambs, but we couldnt leave before Kylee fed all the Dougie's! Whitney was so excited and she couldnt handle the thought of her precious babies riding in the back of the truck so she talked me into letting them ride shotgun! BAD IDEA!! They were EVERYWHERE and not staying in their box at Whits feet like she had intended...We had an awesome day that was shortly interrupted by a pitchfork to the stomach!! Kylee tripped over the fence that was laying on the ground and crashed onto the pitchfork! No serious damage, but some serious tears, it freaked her out but it was just a little booboo! Fun time was had by all :)
